Nvidia Unveils Cosmos Platform to Accelerate Physical AI Development

Nvidia has launched the Cosmos platform, a suite of world foundation models designed to advance Physical AI applications. The platform enables developers to train video analytics AI agents, autonomous vehicles, and robotics systems with human-like understanding of the physical world. Cosmos utilizes structured reasoning on visual data to create spatiotemporal models for decision-making in industrial applications.

The platform features three core models: Predict for generating continuous video sequences from multimodal inputs, Transfer for simulating control scenarios, and Reason for structured analysis. Nvidia emphasizes Cosmos' ability to process massive sensor datasets through its Curator framework, which filters and annotates data for specialized AI training pipelines.
